Promovendo o intercâmbio entre a fotografia e as artes visuais cearenses, com a atual produção brasileira e internacional, o Festival FotoKariri realiza sua terceira edição com o tema “olhares acessíveis”. A programação acontecerá no Centro Cultural do Cariri.
Em sua terceira edição, o FotoKariri - Festival de Fotografia é provocado por um tema incontornável e será pautado por questões da acessibilidade na arte/sociedade, onde a inclusão seguirá para além do tema do evento, mas para sua estrutura com toda a programação sendo dividida entre pessoas videntes e não videntes, ouvintes e não ouvintes, pessoas com ou sem mobilidade reduzida, por exemplo: Voltado para pessoas com deficiência (PCD) e o público em geral, o festival busca ampliar a participação e visibilidade desses/as artistas no campo da fotografia e das artes visuais, promovendo a diversidade de experiências e estabelecendo um lugar mais democrático para os encontros proporcionados pela fotografia.
A artista visual Ulla von Czékus foi selecionada para apresentar o vídeo do seu fotolivro Meu lugar no tempo.
Promoting an exchange between photography and the visual arts of Ceará with current Brazilian and international production, the FotoKariri Festival holds its third edition under the theme “accessible gazes.” The program will take place at the Cariri Cultural Center.
In its third edition, FotoKariri – Photography Festival is driven by an unavoidable theme: accessibility in art and society. Inclusion will go beyond the festival’s theme and be present in its very structure, with the entire program designed to embrace both sighted and blind audiences, hearing and deaf participants, people with or without reduced mobility, among others.
Aimed at people with disabilities (PWD) as well as the general public, the festival seeks to broaden the participation and visibility of these artists in the field of photography and visual arts, promoting diversity of experiences and establishing a more democratic space for encounters made possible through photography.
The visual artist Ulla von Czékus was selected to present the video of her photobook My Place in Time.
